Bra Couture® KC Fashion Show & Auction 2023

We are excited to welcome to the runway a male stomach cancer survivor and an ovarian cancer survivor. Request for funding for both men and women with any cancer has pulled the BCKC organization to provide funds for services to these patients as well … while providing support for breast cancer will always remain our primary focus, we want to continue to move beyond the bra to provide care to any uninsured cancer patient in the greater Kansas City area. We are very proud to say, all funds raised by Bra Couture KC, stay here to care for our own.

The V.I.P. Experience

During the V.I.P. experience before the event, you’ll have exclusive access to surprise auction items and the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket for the Hope Springs Eternal special trip all while enjoying live music from a local Kansas City musician. Guests will get to mingle with local sports team celebrities, KC Chiefs Ambassadors, and other local celebrities, in addition to enjoying food from local Kansas City chefs. 

The Runway Show and Auction

The “Top 14″ couture designed bras are modeled live on the runway by cancer survivors and are auctioned live by professional auctioneer, Lenny Mullin.   Every couture designed fashion, many by fashion designers from the Kansas City fashion community, comes with an amazing package that includes trips to great destinations such as, The Kentucky Derby, Italy and packages for the Royals and Chiefs.

Our 2023 Silent Auction Walk will feature silent auction items including designer purses (one holding a surprise of $500 cash!); artwork by local artists; and sports memorabilia from the Royals, and Chiefs.

Chef and Owner/Operator Ryan Moody brings a hands-on approach to a unique local concept right outside of historic Downtown Shawnee.  With a vision of incorporating the original street food of Kansas City (BBQ) alongside Mexican street food.  Tex-Mex / BBQ fusion was born from the passion to not be another BBQ or Taco joint that you can find on any corner in any neighborhood. If he’s not smoking meats on his hand made barrel smoker you will find him on the big purple food truck slinging tasty fusion street eats all over the Kansas City Metro area.  Fresh quality ingredients not just in the kitchen but behind the bar is what he calls his “secret recipe to success”.  Always looking for a way to help out the community while working with local schools and nonprofits, Ryan believes investing in the community is the only way to do business. Starting with just a food truck 6 years ago he has grown to a stand alone brick n’ mortar that is homebase to his ever growing mobile concept. To reserve a table for the annual Bra Couture KC event, please click on this form for the specific table categories and the benefits of purchasing a reserved table.

Purchasing a reserved table qualifies the buyer as a Bra Couture KC “Sponsor” with the same benefits as a corporate sponsor.

We encourage individuals who purchase tables to use their ad space for the Bra Couture KC Event Program to pay tribute to a runway model or to a special cancer survivor of choice.
