Very quickly because of the generosity of Kansas City donors, Bra Couture KC had raised funds to become our own 501c3 and to expand our services for uninsured to a new location. 

Discovering that women in underserved communities had little to no transportation to get to our anchor center at Missys’ Boutique, The Bra Couture KC Cancer Services Center opened in 2014 with a $35,000 donation using our donor dollars.

At this center uninsured/underinsured men and women cancer patients can receive the following assistance: 

• Wigs
• Molded breast prosthetics and bras
• Lymphedema garments for both men and women
• Lymphedema consulting services
• Ensure
• Financial assistance for food cards at Price Chopper, gas cards at Quick Trip and assistance with utilities during treatment if a patient is not being paid and too ill to work
• Bottled water for patients during treatment
